Bristol Teacherfest Report 2022

For the first time this year, colleagues in partner schools put on events to share their expertise and practice on a wide range of topics. There were also live sessions each week at University of Bristol’s School of Education providing an important opportunity to link research with practice. We had some outstanding keynote speakers too: global expert Professor Pasi Sahlberg from Finland who spoke about equity and excellence in education post-pandemic; Peter Hyman of Big Education who talked about educating head, hand and heart and Professor Rob Coe of the Education Endowment Foundation who drew on research to explore what makes great teachers. The Report is divided into 5 sections to reflect the different themes:
